Albertina specializes in ultra-premium, limited-production Cabernet Sauvignon wines from their higher elevation, cool climate vineyard above Hopland in Mendocino County, California. Grapes grown at higher elevations produce smaller berries and softer tannins. As a result, this wine offers more intense, distinctive, but well balanced, appearance, aromas and flavors than many of its Napa Valley counterparts.

The soul of the Robertson Winery is found in its member families. In 1941, a number of Robertson Valley grape growers came together to form a winery in which all families would own a share. Naming their new venture Robertson Winery, after Scottish minister Dr. William Robertson who settled in the area in 1822, the group set a course that has taken the company from humble beginnings to become one of largest fine wine producers in South Africa. The ownership takes great pride in having built a success based on family values spanning more than four generations.
